Are you in a STEM club at primary or secondary school? Have you made something fantastic in technology or science lessons or for your coursework? Have you created some great software? Have you been doing interesting technical projects at home?

Are you a teacher with pupils or students who have high-quality engineering projects to offer, or a STEM initiative/club that you'd like to showcase? Or are you are parent, guardian or tutor whose child has been working on an exciting project?

If your answer to any of these questions is YES, then exhibit at the CSES Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition, held annually in late June or early July. You may win a prize!

CSES annual Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition 2014, Friday 20 June, Anglia Ruskin University

Chelmsford Science and Engineering Society is pleased to announce the 2014 launch of its annual Schools’ Engineering and Technology Competition.

The 2014 competition will be held on Friday 20 June 2014 at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, and an awards evening will be held on Thursday 3 July, also at Anglia Ruskin University. Please put these dates in your diary!

I didn't know about the competition or the CSES until a few weeks prior to the event. One of the teachers at my school asked me if I'd like to take my project to the competition for the day with a few friends who were entering, and who also won prizes!

This year the Chelmsford Science and Engineering Society is once again pleased to invite you to enter the annual Engineering and Technology Competition which will be held in Chelmsford at the Rivermead Campus, Anglia Ruskin University, Bishop Hall Lane, CM1 1SQ on Friday 28th June 2013.

The competition aims to encourage young people to take up a career in Engineering or Technology, and offers an opportunity to meet like-minded people in what we believe is a stimulating and fun environment.

There will be more than 25 prizes to compete for, donated by the Society and local businesses.

Schools' Competition this Friday

Annual Engineering and Technology Competition: 28th June 2013, 08.15, Marconi Building, Anglia Ruskin University

The annual Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition is coming very soon on Friday 28th June, and will start at 08.15 for entrants' registration. The event will be taking place in the Marconi Building at Anglia Ruskin University.

Please find attached the programme for the day, this year's project entries and the competition rules.

Remember to save the date for the awards ceremony: Saturday 6th July at 09.30.

We look forward to seeing many of you there, and we wish the very best of luck to all entrants!
