Marconi Heritage Centre

Starting from discussions between a group of former Marconi Radar colleagues, over the past two years a set of online archives has been created covering the histories of the major parts of the Marconi company. By gathering in memories, and in many cases collected paperwork and artefacts, we have built up a lot of the story, but there are still gaps. To fill these in we want to spread the net so this is an appeal to anyone who worked for any part of Marconi to get in contact with us and donate what they have.

There is a possibility that within the New Street redevelopment we can create a physical Marconi Heritage Centre as we are now working with the BAE Heritage Product Committee who already support similar establishments. This means we can have a Chelmsford-based archive.
