The Internet – is it Still Good For Us – My Smarter Essex

Unfortunately, despite strong interest from schools the timing has proven to be difficult for many and so we will postpone until early 2020. We will advise the new date ASAP.

We have limited spaces for attendees and places must be booked in advance, please contact us to book. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

We are pleased to announce the return of My Smarter Essex to Braintree, with a second run of "The Internet: is it Good For Us?" which was last held at Anglia Ruskin University in November 2018.

Sticking to the new format trialled at the previous event, this session will interactively examine how data, connectivity and artificial intelligence will influence our health.

Students (aimed at Year 9+) and teachers will be able to understand, explore and simulate how their requirements and preferences can influence the design of a Future Essex, meet with industry partners and discuss further education and career options in an informal setting.

It will be free to attend and transport will be funded where required. Parking will be available on the day. Food and refreshments will be provided.
